After working in film costume for a number of years on projects ranging from Harry Potter, Finding Neverland, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and Star Wars, I turned my hand to illustration and studied for an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Anglia Ruskin. My costume background heavily influences the work I do from both a research perspective and embracing my love of detail, colour and pattern.
The technique I enjoy using is mono print, dip pen and digitally enhancing in Photoshop.
